Julian Leonard WEBBER

Biography

Julian Webber received the M.Eng. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Bristol, UK in 1996 and 2004 respectively. From 1996 to 1998, he was with Texas Instruments working on ASIC and DSP. From 2001-07 he was a Research Fellow at University of Bristol working on real-time MIMO-OFDM test beds and digital pre-distortion systems. From 2007 to 2012 he was a Research Fellow at University of Hokkaido working on MIMO communications. He is currently working as a Researcher at ATR on advanced techniques for frequency efficiency in satellite communication systems. Current research interests include synchronization, distributed beamforming, multi-point communications, and low complexity decoding.
